The Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 is one of the most recognizable and collectible folding instant cameras from Polaroid's classic SX-70 family.
The Alpha 1 incorporated several improvements over earlier SX-70 versions, including neck strap attachment points and a tripod socket, both of which are present on this example.
Its innovative folding design allows the camera to collapse into a remarkably slim rectangular form for storage and expand into a full SLR instant camera for use.
This example retains its attractive chrome and tan/brown exterior, along with an attached leather strap. Visible cosmetic wear is present from age and previous use, including surface marks, scuffs, wear to the covering and normal aging of the strap. Please review all photographs carefully for exact cosmetic condition.
This camera has not been functionally tested with film. We have not tested the shutter, exposure system, film motor/ejection system, focusing mechanism, rollers, electronics, light meter or image quality.
