This is one of Canon’s classic fast standard lenses from the FD era. The f/1.4 maximum aperture gives it a full stop advantage over many common f/2 lenses and makes it desirable for portraits, available-light photography, shallow depth of field, and adapting to modern mirrorless cameras.
 
The lens features Canon’s S.S.C. Super Spectra Coating, developed to help reduce flare and ghosting and improve contrast and color transmission.
 
This lens has not been professionally tested or serviced. We have not tested focus accuracy, aperture operation, mounting operation, or image quality. The glass has also not been professionally inspected for internal haze, fungus, separation, dust, coating deterioration, or fine scratches.
