Vintage heavy cast-iron open-wheel race car toy finished in yellow with red No. 5 detailing, white wheels with red centers, black driver figure, exposed engine detail, and hinged side hood panels.
 
This substantial old racer has wonderful age and character, including honest paint wear, surface patina, scuffs, and oxidation consistent with decades of display and use.
 
The hinged hood panels open to reveal the molded engine compartment.
 
The design closely resembles early Hubley Red Devil No. 5 racers, but because no clear manufacturer’s mark has been confirmed, it is being offered as an unidentified vintage cast-iron racing toy rather than attributed definitively to Hubley.
